We’re the perfect mix of cozy and modern, to enjoy every season in Big Bear.
THE CABIN
Upon arriving at the cabin, you’re greeted by a view of the stunning log exterior. The property is surrounded by a variety of trees, such as the towering pine trees and fluttering birch trees, which inspired our cabin name (NAMU means “tree” in Korean). We also have some really magical moments in springtime when the property is surrounded by white blossoms.
LIVING ROOM
Enter through the front door and welcome to your home away from home. The stunning vaulted wood ceiling will make a big first impression, combined with the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. You can unwind from a long drive on the comfy sofas and warm up next to the fire to settle in. We also have a bay window for additional seating to lay back with a good book and enjoy the view. We love how conversation can flow freely between everyone in the space (but it’s big enough to separate yourself if you need to).
DINING ROOM
When I think back on the time we’ve spent in Namu, the most memorable moments may be sitting around this very dining table. There’s nothing like gathering around the table for a delicious meal with your favorite people. Once the kids go to sleep, the grown-ups also use this table to play card games or board games (which keeps us up way too late and slightly regretting it the next morning!).
KITCHEN
This kitchen is where it’s at! It’s fully stocked with all you the standard things you need in the kitchen - pots & pans, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, etc. We also have a few extra kitchen gadgets like an air fryer to make those healthy(-er) meals and a high-tech Cuckoo rice cooker that plays a jingle and talks to you.
The expansive breakfast bar island provides additional countertop space to prep meals, or you can have someone play bartender and serve everyone mimosas from the bar.
PRIMARY SUITE
Welcome to the dreamy primary suite! The luxurious California King bed is so soft and cozy and you can really just lay there all day. The sliding doors open up directly to the back deck and you are literally just steps away from the hot tub. Once you’re done, you can get back in quickly from the cold and go directly into the en-suite bathroom to wash up. I absolutely love the double sinks and ample countertop space in there!
GUEST BEDROOMS
We have two additional bedrooms: the “Family Room” which has a Queen bed and a Twin over Twin bunk bed, and the “Blue Room” with a Queen bed. It’s been so fun to add the bunk bed - the kids love it!
CHILD-FRIENDLY AMENITIES
Speaking of kids - we have two young daughters, so we know what it’s like traveling with little ones. We provide all the essentials and more, like a Stokke Clikk high chair, unbreakable dinnerware and utensils, Babyletto rollaway mini crib, and pack n’ play. The cabin is also stocked with children’s books and toys to keep them entertained the entire trip.
GAME ROOM
The separate game room has an air hockey table and a cabinet full of board games and puzzles to keep kids and adults of all ages busy.
HOT TUB
Last but not least, no cabin trip would be complete without some Hot Tub Time! The pergola is decorated with string lights to set the mood and you can watch the beautiful evening and night sky in ultimate relaxation.
